Cork removed with Ah-So. Signs of past seepage. Decanted to remove heavy sediment. Nose is slightly oxidized which blew off after about 1/2. Nose of bell pepper, bright cherries, and tobacco. On the palate, tobacco, cherries, hints of bell pepper. Lots of grip remaining and great acidity on the finish. Bottles with a better seal may have fared better than this, but it is still giving a lot of pleasure.
