Had this late at night, and it was probably not a good time for rating it, as it was probably the 5th or 6th wine I tasted that night. I just remember that it was good. lol. Useless post. :)

The herbaceousness! Sage, thyme, camphor, bay leaf (or was that suggested by the label?) all mingle with wild blackberry and pink peppercorn. The cab really fancies things up, but there's a core of savory, fatty meat regardless. The elegant frame and feral center suggest a roaring natural reserve with carefully maintained borders. After an hour or so the tart fruit really shines, and the mouthfeel, which is juicy and crunchy both, is exceptional. The finish might be the best thing about it--that camphor-y plum and cherry just lingers and lingers. This is a wow-er for the price, and I probably drank it a little young. More! More!

Two hour decant. Excellent priorat, plenty of complexity. So much boldness for a grenache based wine.

Such a fun expression of Priorat table wine. Excellent at 6 years with lots of signs that this can age gracefully… if you’re patient.

This was in a good spot. Like a cab franc crossed with a merlot. Fine tannins, lots of fruit, tobacco and black tea secondary flavors.
