Light and fragrant with red cherry and dark strawberry fruit. Palate is light and fresh with bright strawberry and cherry fruit. Nicely complex with a long tasty finish. Slight notes of earth and wood - to complement the sweet pure fruit. I thought this was excellent.

Pinot Noir at Moncur (Bistro Moncur, Sydney): Considerably prettier than the willowlake, more fruit driven with a slightly jubey underpin, plums and cherry. Juicy, fleshy, fruity notes are joined by considerable tannic burr which lends a chalky edge. Fruit persists. Nice.

slight stalks but not too dominant, more a supporting element, dark hued fruits, tends to the savoury, slight sulphur. Juicy, savoury, talc textured tannins, again fruit is a little subdued but not as bad as the Willowlake and it carries long. Okay.

Still very bright, cherry, wood, vanilla and spice. There's a really nice line of acidity that suggests this will go the distance. No rush.

Sweet nose, candied cherry and strawberry. Lovely line of acidity over a earthy savoury cherry palate. Delicious
