Moorooduc Masterclass with Kate McIntyre (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Slightly sour red fruit, a little wild ferment sourness, pencil shavings, cedar, very slightly dried flowers, slightly gamey. Medium plus intensity acidity, plenty of grainy textured grip, fruit plays second fiddle, very much in the savoury spectrum.

Splash decanted 30 minutes. Dark ripe fruit. Very pleasant and very 2018. Would drink now and enjoy the fruit. B+

Savoury slant. That gamey note dominates while the berries and other notes sits at the back.
Dried red berries. Gentle aroma
Dry finishing. Juicy. Acid is there to keep it fresh.
Light to medium body and medium finishing because of the oak. Nothing fantastic.
