Vanilla, puerh tea leafs on the nose. Palate is rich and ripe, tannins is chewy and earthy undertone. Contrary to other comments I think this is nicely made and great expression of burgundy.

Good solid burgundy NSG nose of cherry cola, strawberries, and blackberry. Dark fruits and cherry cola on the palate. Slight bitterness in the end. Good burg. But way overpriced. I wouldn’t buy this again.

PoB - Burgundy 2018 En Primeur (Hong Kong): During an En Primeur walkabout tasting, so only brief impressions. A producer that I usually like but not so much in this vintage. The Chaignots felt oaky and extracted (88), the Vaucrains carried the mass a bit better but too much blue fruit and cassis here as well (90).
