Not a typical Syrah based wine I think. Pale ruby. Very sour red berry fruit of medium intensity on the nose (red cherry, cranberry, raspberry) as well some green leafiness. On the palate the aromatic character was more pronounced with the sour red berry fruit on the foreground and maybe some floral hints (rose?). Medium(+) flavor intensity. In terms of structure, it is a light-bodied wine with low tannins and really high acidity. Although I personally prefer this style of wine (light body, high acidity), I think that the acidity was a little bit over the top in terms of balance. I even noticed a slight sparkling sensation. Because of that, I don't think its so easy drinking and it needs a light dish. On the other hand I think it would be perfect companion for salads, light tomato-based dishes (pasta, pizza) or even some fish dishes. Relatively short finish. For me it was definitely an interesting wine to taste.

Sample tasting at work (Oinoscent): The wine shows vibrant red fruit, nerve, juicy, a few floral notes, leathery, red cherries and currants, almond. In the palate, the wine follows the same pattern again, bright cherries and currants, a few spice notes, high acidity, a lot of nerve, lively a solid foot on the natural side, medium body, tight tannins, med finish

Sampled at Oinoscent, wine brought by importer Syrah and Grenache The wine is earthy, red fruit, spicy, peppery and a bit gamey. The wine is spicy and gamey in the palate (but more so), higher acidity than expected, sour cherry, fresh(ness) tannins, light to medium body, medium finish
