Changed over time. Aerated and decanted for a short time and drank very well with a nice blend of pepper and fruit. After an hour, I didn't like it as much, but that could be the key lime pie that ruined my pallete.

Similar to first bottle but this bottle was bit lighter on its feet. lots of fruit, good smooth tannins, drank with NJ strip steak and baked potato, I puzzle over how good this wine really is, full body, dark color, great fragrant bouquet, but it never sings, an interesting wine with gobs of fruit but I guess it lacks acid to keep it humming, last bottle so on to the next vintage, maybe Denner wines need higher alcohol to purr, 13.8% abv.

Dark, dark red color and slightly muted aromatics showing berries, spice, and a hint of earthiness. On the palate showing a slight herbal tone surrounded by mocha, cherry, and dark berries. Over the course of two hours, the aromatic improved and revealed more tart fruit and chocolate.

Extremely youthful and will benefit from more time in the cellar. Deep purple with exploding fruits and just a touch of lingering tannins striving to break through the fruits. Will let remaining bottles sit a few more years.

Big nose and palate of plum jam. Bigger at the front of the mouth than at the back.
