  Less Celebrated France WIMPS #176 26th April 2024 (La Trompette, Chiswick): Rich, concentrated nose with Morello cherry and and just a hint of smoke; very Burgundian. Palate is savoury and balance and is lifted by lovely acidity. Nice wine.

  Brought this to Kam Boat Chinese Restaurant for dim sum lunch with my army buddies.
  
  Decanted for 15 minutes prior to serving. Dark purple in colour with a medium body and juicy notes of plums and fleshy berries. Jammy, with a supple amount of fresh red fruits.
  
  This Gamay does not overpower the food it is paired with, and it can also be drank on its own. Wonderful, isn't it?
