Exotic nose. Weighty, luscious peach palate, very forward in the mouth. Some sawdust and much florals and perfume. Needs more acid, although slight bitter apricot pits provides some balance. Short, un-earth-shattering.

Complex nose of mandarin, red apples, apricot nectar, banana verging on raspberry and spicy mango.
Lands supple and sweet with mandarin, lemon and red apple and sweet apricot nectar.
Transitions through the middle with some grip and savouriness- apricot kernel and ginger.
Sweetness well balanced by acidity through the medium length finish where sweet and sour- almost Toffee Apple-flavours provide a clean finish and a good length. A touch of Big Red cinnamon chewing gum makes an appearance in the aftertaste.
It’s a good to very good rating from me today with some upside, 90+. Drink now over the next 5-10 years. It’s still primary, and has the stuffing, length and balance to develop slowly. Clear glass means it’s easy to track development by colour.
Day 3. Holds up well open in the fridge.
