Slightly blush in colour. Rich red apple, strawberry, pastry. Fine palate, fresh acidity and not harsh despite no dosage. Some creaminess but finishing dry. Maybe lacking some complexity and length but very nice, has a sense of class and identity.

The colour is a golden yellow, and the mousse is quite fine. On the nose is muted, but slightly yeasty. On the palate, green apples, tangy. The finish is moderately long, but slighty cloying rather than refreshing.
Overall it's a decent everyday fizz, but at a price of ~US$32 it's rather expensive for that, and there are more interesting grower champagnes at this price range.
