  • Drinking really well in 2021. It’s not terribly complex, with notes of indistinct blue and red fruits supported by a green/pyrazine flavor that I tend to get on WA cabs. What makes this shine is the texture: velvety smooth at first, enough acid to counteract the heavy body and high alcohol, but leaving your mouth dry enough to want more. It doesn’t feel like it’s trying to rip your gums out with tannins, only swab a small cotton ball around. It paired very well with a ribeye. I’m impressed for mid $20s.
