This was a nice bottle - surprised me a bit, after a couple bad experiences with the Darby syrah. picked this up from Darby with no label on it. Darby just wrote 'purple haze' on it and signed it. Big flavors of dark fruit.
Nice midweek wine. Bit heavy on the oak, but not over the top. Nose was a bit closed tonight. Plenty of dark fruit on the palate. Would purchase again.

Popped and poured. Very strong oak aromas along with tons of dark fruit. Tannins jump up and smack your tongue around. Back palate has loads of fruit and the finish lasts a good long time. Would purchase again.

A Washington State blend very much in the style of Tamarack Firehouse Red or L'ecole 41 Recess Red, and pretty much on par with those two wines. Was pretty closed out of the bottle but developed nicely after opening...was rich, earthy, and a little peppery after an hour.

Dark in the glass and buttery on the nose with pepper spice and black cherry fruit on the tongue and a long pepper finish. Stayed bright for the entire meal (about an hour) but was great compliment to the acrually poor food. Will buy more. Won't go back to Enotria Seattle.
