Drank in 110 (M) Great to see the commercial release of Magnums from Biondi. This was opened about 6 hours prior. Still extremely young but incredible depth and complexity. Tried a regular bottle beside and the magnum wins.

Wilson Daniels Dinner (Smyth and The Loyalist - Chicago IL): Bottle had been opened and double decanted approximately ten hours earlier, which certainly helped coax out some richness, but despite so much great potential here, there was little pleasure here tonight. The 1990 in the next glass is getting close to its peak drinking window, so I expect great things from this 2013, but likely from 2033-2075.

You can tell why this is riserva. More elegant and delicious. Well balanced. Has had time to develop and more my style at a lower ABV. Definitely red cherries and very floral. I still prefer Salvioni and Stella to this producer but this is a close third for sure.
