Perhaps robbed the cradle here. But I’m not sure, as it never really showed a cohesive structure top to bottom over three days. At best with salmon and peas, very tannic, and fruit either muted or overwhelmed on its own. Interesting and perhaps intentional but not really enjoyable to me. Nice nose though, I feel something may just be asleep and didn’t have enough rest.

TGIF on a beautiful day in Great Falls with fall like weather forecasted for the entire weekend. Opened the 2018 Bethel Heights "Estate" Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir and it pared beautiful with Sushi and crispy duck. Classic Willamette Valley Oregon Pinot although a bit more dense than most. Dark cherry, forrest floor, taproot, pepper with a smooth velvety mouth feel. A pinot that sort of gives you a bear hug. -DD93

Pretty full and robust... brilliant ruby in the glass... either a hot summer or a late harvest.
