Consistent with first bottle consumed earlier this year. Big & friendly. Just enough acidity to keep it interesting. Tropical fruits, on the sweeter side of Spat. Likely to develop more complexity over time, but not sure if it will drink better than now.

Big, fleshy Spat. Served alongside a corn/black bean/jalapeno/avocado salad with the intent to be a foil to the spice. Successful pairing as the Wagner had some white peach/light spice and bright notes with some RS. I remembered it being even bigger, so was pleasantly surprised that it drunk as well as it did.

Monthly Tasting Group: Rieslings and Thai Food (Tum Rup Thai, Mpls): Light gold color. Drank one glass over an hour. Nose was muted, subtle peach, apricot. Came off as a bit sweet and flabby. Not bad, but lacked the acid to pull it off completely.
