We drank this to finish our Thanksgiving dinner. It was the last bottle of a batch i bought back in 2008. The nose was dried figs and maple. The color was light brown. The palate was dates, figs, kumquats with hints of maple running through it. The finish was sweet and smooth. A perfect end to a great dinner with great friends.

It is been five years since I last opened a bottle (375's) and this wine is still singing. Beautiful caramel color, the nose is orange flowers and raisins. The palate is apricot, honey, dates, with a touch of spiced apple. The finish is long and full. It was a perfect ending to our Thanksgiving dinner. Served with the pumpkin pie and my wife Susan's spectacular cheese cake.

Remains unbelievably unctuous with apricot jam, honey, magnolia blossom, and granny smith apples. There is more there, but so well integrated it makes it hard to pick out individual flavors. Pairs extremely well with Tart Tatin!

Time has been kind to this wine, it is, I believe, just coming into its prime. Color is light brown, flavors of vanilla, almonds and caramel, the sweetness of the wine is perfect and the finish goes on forever. It was a perfect end to Michael's birthday dinner.

Caramel, figs, orange blossom. Smooth, sweet. Enjoyable. Cellared since original release.
