Fruits rouges, poivre, un petit côté « fumé » caractéristique des vins grisons, densité et puissance. Encore un peu marqué par l’élevage et une certaine acidité laisse présager un beau développement!

Deeper ruby color with a touch of purple. These wines have a track record of aging exceptionally well, but it needed a decant to open up a little bit. Notes of dark cherries, but also some dark red fruit, graphite, some pepper, some crushed rock minerality and a touch of graphite, there is also a touch of oak (sweet spices toast), but not dominating at all as well as a touch of tobacco. It‘s medium-full bodied, dense and pretty structured, with medium+ tannin that is exceptional quality as well as some good medium-high acidity providing tension and freshness. Long finish with great persistence. This will still need another 3-5 years to show a little more aromatic complexity, but the potential is really great. Excellent QPR too for this level of Pinot Noir. Lovely. I will cellar a few bottles and wait for the magic to happen. Everything seems in excellent balance here. (93-94+)

Serious Rosés at Full Circle: So oaky and confected that I thought this was a new-world wine. Too ripe and alcoholic for my taste.
