Just a beautiful entry level Bourgogne. This punches way above its class. A silky, aromatic wine showing wonderful cherry fruit and a lingering finish, inviting sip after sip. It can age more, but it is so delicious now, I see no reason to wait.

Slightly closed and simple upon opening, as I've come to expect from Méo-Camuzet. There was quite a refreshing acidity to the wine, and as it opened up, it gave way to dark berry fruit, hints of cherry, and some beginning sous-bois.
It's worth noting that the wine was bottled under DIAM30, which I'm fairly certain has had an effect on the aging curve, seeing as the 2016s (regular cork) are at their peak now. I would hold this for another year or two, or give it a good decant.

Meo BR is always one om my favourite entry wines. I was not really impressed by release, but a couple years in the celler and this really sings. Easy drinking, pretty nice details, integrated oak, silky tannins. 89-90.

Friday Night Brown Bagger (J&J's): Blind. Light color. Notes of cherry compote, clay, herbs and riper red berry fruit. Cherry and wild berry fruit flavors with good supporting acidity. Very nice.
