A really nice pinot. Aromas of spices, dark fruits, and underbrush. Palate is resolved and smooth with subtle red fruits, some lavender, dried roses, and soil. A really nice value for $20.
2002-2005 Rosella's Vineyard Pinot Noirs (Bi-weekly group blind tasting at Tom's House): Blindtasted 9 Rosella's Vineyard Pinots, My #6, The group's #8.Someone slipped in a Burg! Musty, damp basement, Indian spices o nthe nose. Dry, oak, cigar, no fruit
quite dense and rich for this level. Good grip and mouth feel with nice cherry core and orange rind, minerality and earth on finish.
Quite delicious, outsized, very nice. A tad generic but just fine.
