Wow. There is energy, verve and balance here, I was not expecting this as I am just getting into the hobo family's ghostwriter line from a recent 6pack.
Soaring acid levels, matching the chiseled fruit. Lemon curd and green apple on the finish with a bit of wood. 12.8%abv. Very nice.
Under 2inch diam cork.

Not as sharp as my first bottle but nonetheless tasty!
The oak gently frames a sort of salty lemony pie.
$25 Santa Cruz mountains chardonnay, sign me up.
