Pale lemon colour, still very young and fresh. The nose was quite closed but the palate had more to offer. Some white nectarine along with tart lemon and a little grapefruit. A little ginger zing and some warm sandalwood. Pretty good now but I think this is still growing into itself and is years away from its best.

Peach, slight sweet spice, fruit forward with time a little struck match, stone fruit, slight butter. Medium plus intensity acidity, fleshy, fresh, citrus, slight nectarine, textured mid palate, slight alcohol warmth on finish is non-intrusive, quite bold. Okay.

Giant Steps 2019 Zoom Tasting w/ Steve Flamsteed. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of citrus lemon oil, floral topnotes, and then a touch of honey almond nut. Developing. On the palate, dry, rounded high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body. Medium+ intensity, with flavours of citrus lemon oil, white peaches, sweet honeyed almond nut, rumbly mealy stony mineral background. A bit of toast oak and spice. Long spiced finish. Very good quality. Good material. Needs maybe just another 2+ years more to integrate and develop and should go on to express itself nicely.

Drank this wine at Manhill Restaurant over dinner with my wine mates. Theme of the evening: Syrah (or Shiraz) or Syrah dominant wines.
Greenish yellow in colour.
