Nose - cough syrup cherry Mouth - clean, confected red fruit medley, mineral, lacks complexity, and while it can still survive on the strength of its acidity, I don’t see any reason why to wait. For hamburgers

This wine's in prime drinking form; it's in full secondary development wherein the baked cherry fruit is dominated by tomato leaf, iron-like minerality and maturing caramel tones in a very good way for a cooler vintage profile (less fruity, more acidity) that I suspect most Cali Pinot drinkers found underwhelming in the younger wine. Much better than the Arcadian version of this vineyard in 2006.

Didn't have the breadth and depth of the Sta Lucia Pinots that I love. Had all the components, just more subdued.

Softened red fruit with raspberry and baked cherry. Medium acid, soft tannins, and medium finish. Very nice wine.
