Bright garnet, no discoloration at edges. Sour cherries and spice on the nose. Smooth and integrated on the palate, with tart red fruit, spice, pepper and a hint of licorice on the palate. Lighter than other brunellos I've tasted of this vintage, but a nice surprise, given the other notes. Paired with cinghiale and pasta at my favorite Tuscan restaurant, exquisite.

Very pleasant with nice color, aromas and flavors. Drank very well lamb chops. Probably not worth holding too much longer.
