Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. Med ruby w/ a little garnet. Med red and black cherry, candied red fruit, Dry, consistent with the nose, with med (+) acidity, tannins and alcohol. Med (+) body with med flavor intensity and a pleasingly juicy, medium finish. Aging for 18 months in a mix of 500 ltr. oak, chestnut and cherry casks does not impart any notable oak influences. It is still showing well at 5 years but is not intended for aging.
