  A balanced wine with ripe red fruit and baking spice flavours. Oak is present but nicely integrated. Medium - tannins and lively acidity lead to a long and tasty aftertaste. Not much complexity but a nice experience overall.

  Good in a surprising way. From the hefty bottle I expected something oaky, boozy, or overextracted, and this wine is none of those things. Instead, it has nice full red fruit and some fairly formidable (but not obnoxious) tannins, along with some herbs that made me think of a more Italian style. Not the most complex wine, but a pleasurable accompaniment to dinner.
