  • Agree with brythephotoguy in general. Lightly fruity (pear and a touch of citrus), just the right amount of oak. Less than I am used to (Ch. Ste. Michelle is my usual weekday Chard), and it was a nice change. Went very well with lemon-grilled chicken as well as the cake and fruit salad served for dessert. (3+12+17+8)

  • Served chilled. Light, fruity aromas with a bit of toasted oak. Palate starts out light with light buttery fruit (peach/pear & citrus) and finishes with nice balanced oak, mineral and acidity. Paired very well with alder smoked, herbes d'Provence crusted salmon.

On a side note, the label states 14.6% alcohol and while it is well balanced, that number seems conservative.
