Impulse purchase @ Costco. 14.2% abv - $10 (after $10 discount). Served well-chilled (10c/50f) with baked Salmon, Broccoli and Caprese salad.
Clear pale yellow in the glass. Fragrant nose apple and pear, yet including hints of ripe tropical fruits. Complex palate of pear with some melon. Smooth, lightly-oaked, with creamy impression and buttery hints. Ample acid for crispness, but not overpowering. Soft, yet provides a nice lingering, finish with steely after-notes. Quince seems to be an apt descriptor, pear-like, yet providing aromatics and spiciness on the palate.
According to WineMag.com, this is the latest, and best, of the three available vintages. I believe a legitimate 90 point contender. Good all-around California Chardonnay; savory, satisfying. Spouse Endorsed, I'll buy more.

Started off a little oaky but that tapered showing nice notes of pear and melon. Enjoyable wine that goes down really easily on a warm evening. Worth the Costco price.

Pretty darn nice for a $10 offering. Lots of toasty oak and buttressed with tropical fruits and citrus zest. Best drunk cold, and won’t make old bones. But a very nice summertime weeknight white. Drink in 2021. Worth Seeking Out.

Crisp, fleshy, almost voluptuous, with wonderful balance and a kiss of ripeness to fresh nectarines, Nilla wafers, and nasturtium. Wisps of ginger and peach fuzz linger on the tasty finish. Nice.

Keeper. Medium body. Not too oakey. Pleasant light fruit. Great with chicken.
