Beautiful and mature burg. The nose still has red cherry primary smells mixed with age. The palate is totally softened and a beautiful complex mixture of fruit, fermentation, and time.

I am a huge 2005 fan in general, understanding that the wines are so dense, powerful, and backward that they need time. Most 2005 Village wines are wonderful right now, and some 1er Crus are starting to show their stuffing. And while I find this wine enjoyable and engaging, it is still more disjointed than most. I think there is further upside as the structure softens, but am less confident in its future than I was a decade ago.

Popped and poured. Red morello cherry, grilled meats and herbs come through. Round and delicious, this is in a remarkably youthful state but at the same time is ready to drink with minimal air. While this is in a good place now I think it can continue to develop for another 5-10 years

Not super complex, but full of delicious ripe-but-not-ripe 2005 fruit. Drinking well now.

Medium ruby color. Nose of earth, pine resin, and red berries. Medium bodied on the palate and juicy, thins out a touch on the finish.
