  • Tobacco, red fruits , spice. Fruit not as upfront as it should. Slowly coming out of its shell but been open for 2 hours and should be showing more. Great acidity.
Let’s cork it back up and see what it taste like tomorrow

Next night - Rough edges smoothed out but still not particularly complex. Still somewhat youthful but the fruit is drying up.

  • Opened up for 1 hour. Once open dark red fruits, medium body with round mouthfeel. Notes of coffee and menthol. Very enjoyable. Drinking very well.

  • Forest floor, spice box, truffle, smoke, licorice and dark red fruits are a nice treat for the nose. Close to fully mature, the secondary, earthy aromatic profiles move to ripe, sweet, fruits in the finish, but there is touch of dryness in the end note that stops the wine from getting a higher score.

  • Vanilla notes. Tight, short finish to begin with. Decanted and opened up nicely after three hours.
