took a little time and coaxing to bring out the vanillin aromas which enrichen the tart pit fruit. there's also a waxy quality hiding in there. in short the wine flirts with some more complex flavors which, for those paying attention, help balance the boisterous acidity and mineral purity. probably another white burg i'd suggest decanting.

Color had quite the golden tint for a young wine and the decanter gave off some powerful aromas for the 2-3 hours before pouring!
Nose was so lovely with ripe apple, lemon, lemon zest, white flowers, flint and some popcorn kernel. It felt really deep and complex with a hint of butter coming through as well.
Palate was the complete opposite and was instead super fresh, bright and young! More green apple here, citrus fruits, lemon zest, white flowers and beautiful chalky minerality. Wonderful sharp acidity though a bit lean at this early stage.
The future seems extremely bright for Girardin... Time to stock up before it's too late.

Needed time to open up, revealing orchard fruit and white flower, a bit of oak, good backbone. Better tomorrow.

Rich orchard fruit and spice profile, a bit of extant oak remains, but good balance even today yet better tomorrow.
