This is a lovely Napa representation of a classic Rhone grape. Lots of stone fruit and apple on the palate, with good acidity to keep it crisp. From grapes grown in Carneros and Oak Knoll. Drinking really well right now, at 5 years old.

The 2019 vintage is still has good primary fruit characteristics of apricot and pear, and is developing tertiary aromas of honey. Good wine, would drink soon though.

Let this open for an hour. Chilled in the fridge as well. Great notes of apple, stone fruits especially apricot with some zestiness. On the palate, nicely structured with apple tart, apricots, nice acidity, a slight spice. Slight aftertaste of cream, but not in a bad way. This was great QPR and worked well with the pink snapper and jalapeno-saffron sauce it was served with - would definitely buy again.

A little smoother than the Pinot grisio, but it had to decant a day or two in the dispenser
