Even better now be when last tasted last year, but starting to think that’s going to be a theme with 2018s. Ripe apple and bright lemon with good weight, obviously ripe but more balance and harmony than I recall from before. Possible further upside?

Aromas of mineral, apple, slate and pear. Flavors of apple, mineral, lime and stone fruit. Ends with a 15-20 second finish with mineral and stone fruit notes. This is a very solid Bourgogne and worth the price of admission .

This Burgundian Chardonnay has an interesting color, it's almost peach-like and quite deep. The nose is quite fruity and floral with lemon, lime, geranium, pineapple and persimmon. A nutty component akin to hazelnuts hits as well. On the palate it is crisp and refreshing. The fruit flavors are more tropical than citrus driven with pineapple and melon dominating. The nuttiness remains albeit nuanced. The acidity is en pointe with this wine, you barely notice it unless you start to wonder about it. The wine is mid-weight and has a long finish with layers of tropical fruit interwoven with some minerality and citrus notes. It begs for a Cobb salad or some steamed shellfish. I am enjoying it chilled and think it will drink well for another few years. 89 points from me for this $30 wine make it a 3 star effort.

Aromas of mineral, pie crust, crushed rock and lime. Flavors of lemon, mineral, hint of vanilla and clove. Ends with a mineral and star fruit driven finish of 15-20 seconds. Similar to prior note.

Lots of apple with a floral start and good mid-palate. Good enough weight for its level, even if it loses some steam towards its medium finish, and ends slightly warmer than I would prefer. Still, a very good Bourgogne to enjoy now through 2023.
