Outstanding Sonoma Pinot from Pahlmeyer. Medium-dark garnet color and a fresh fruit bouquet on the nose. On the palate a mouth-watering blend of strawberries and raspberries backed by medium tannins and acidity. This is extremely well balanced and oh, so easy to drink. Should be a good match with just about anything - heaven on earth with duck confit. An excellent value because you'd have to spend a lot more to beat it.

Fabulous cherry and blackberry flavors , soft tannins, long finish. Drank half with tomato-based seafood stew with chouricu; finished the bottle a few days later with salmon with dill mayo sauce. Needs a little bit of aeration, but not much. Wish I had more of it.

Drank 1/2 with seared salmon, 1/2 with turkey and fixin’s. Excellent with both: great recruit, long finish

Had this alongside the Peake 2017 PN from Santa Rita Hills. They were similar but this was a bit brighter with more cherry notes.
