Color was translucent red. Nice minerality to the nose, with plenty of fragrant light red fruits. Flavor profile was just ok. This one fell a little flat for me. Maybe I expected more because its a Pahlmeyer.

In Vino Veritas (in wine there is truth; people speak the truth when they are drunk), bottles #131, 132 and 133 of my cellar sacrifices. I am a little behind in my wine postings, so I may do a few bottles at a time now. Too much wine, not enough time! 😀
131 was a 2016 Pahlmeyer Jason Pinot that tasted pretty good. With a name like Pahlmeyer, I was expecting much more, but it was just OK to me. Medium bodied but lacking in finish for my taste.
132 was an inexpensive 2018? Petite Sirah from Spellbound. In the stores for sale now, I did find an everyday table wine. A fruitbomb that meets the bill!
133 was a fantastic 2015, 35th anniversary, RRV Pinot from William Selyem. Earthy, medium-bodied and a beautiful, lasting finish!🍷🍷🍷👍👍👍 #wine #winelover #winelovers #redblend #redblendwine #pinot #pinotnoir #petitesirah #petitesyrah #petitsirah #Pahlmeyer #Spellbound #WilliamSelyem

By the glass. Very côté de Beaune village like. Rustic, direct and lacking that deeply acid character. Earthly yet pretty short. Aromatically speaking memories of a rhubarb, wild strawberries and cherry salad served with sour cream. Similar echoes on the palate with spicy and earthy tones. Deceptively good cause that name on the label.

Medium red to the dark side; dense, concentrated, hint of pepper, licorice, long aftertaste; really good
