  This note was taken 8 hours after opening the bottle.
  
  Medium-dark ruby colour, no signs of ageing yet. Beautiful aromas of cherry, blueberry, some raspberry and leather and hints of sweet tobacco and liquorice. Full bodied with smooth, mouth coating tannins, balanced acidity and some sweetness of fruit. The finish is very long and follows through seamlessly.
  
  This wine certainly had the structure to last, and perhaps develop, for many years to come. But I like it a lot as it is right now! Drink now - 2033.
