Served chilled Red in color, lighter than normal due to the white Pinot mixture. Lively and light. Cranberry, fresh strawberry, light cherry. Good bright finish

PnP in Grassl Cru. Light, transparent color. Smells of cranberry, strawberry, and anise. Some alcohol on the nose, particularly as the wine warms up. More strawberry/cherry on the palate, with a rooty/stemmy note. Quite drinkable now - tannins/acid were unobtrusive. Best closer to cellar temp.

A fun, atypical Pinot Noir, which quoting the producer is "a blend of 100% whole cluster late-ish pick Ribbon Ridge fruit (Armstrong Pommard) and white Pinot noir aged 16 months sur lees from high elevation Eola amity hills (La Chenaie vineyard, clone 115)."
Macerated strawberries and pepper aromas, tasted blind I would probably be thinking Alto Piedmont or Valtellina Nebbiolo, as this feels broad and perhaps slightly lifted. Round, fruit-forward palate with balanced acidity, matches the forward fruit of the red PN with the texture of the white PN. Subtle, but fine structure on the finish.
With air, opened up and had a bit of forest floor/pasture character. Very interesting wine, well-made and unique.

PnP. Considerably more developed now than 18 mo ago. This tastes in the prime window but still another couple of years to go.

Hot mess, no typicity, pure ugly blend.. Disappointed with this wine and this producer. Would prefer an honest wine that presents the vintage.
