  Nice nose with crunchy red fruit, cherries, spices, a slightly meaty character, and some blood orange. The wine has quite a bit of structure and tannins that will need time to soften. More red fruit in the palate with good acidity and some citrus flavors. Nice finish. Really lovely and promising, but also not showing everything today. My first time with this producer and I’m a bit surprised how classic the wines are. Try again in 5+ years. 92+
