  • 2018 Lenz Moser Grüner Veltliner Prestige was fruity, zesty and juicy. The Austrian Grüner Veltliner was clear and pale lemon in colour with noticeable colourless effervescence. There were youthful aromas of lemon zest, honeycrisp apple, smoke and a touch of grass. The mouthfeel was dry and medium-bodied, with medium-high level of fresh acidity and a medium zesty finish with flavours of grapefruit, lemon peel and a touch of saline minerals.

While it might lack depth and varietal signature white pepper note, its vibrancy and fruitiness made it a versatile pairing with slow-cooked chicken thighs lightly seasoned with salt and olive oil.
