Guess I’ll disagree with the reviews here (and professionally). We didn’t care for this at all. Not much flavor and then finished with an alcohol burn. Maybe we could have been more patient with it but it wasn’t opening up to anything interesting in the time we gave it. Shocked at what I paid here. Oh well, it happens. On to the next one!

Not a lot of experience with white wines from Campania, it took a good 30 minutes in a chilling decanter for this wine to really start showing. Made primarily from Roviello Bianco blended with 20% Fiano. Displays a medium lemon hue, and both medium body and alcohol. Enticing nose and layered flavors of Amaretto, pungent herbs, fresh white florals, grapefruit rind, white pepper, slightly bitter almonds, tart grapefruit, barely ripe peach and some ash on the finish. Medium plus acidity lingers in the background providing balance and supporting a medium plus finish. A different and unique wine which can be enjoyed now or over the next 3-5 years.
