  Pale golden brown. Nose of sweet malt, ginger cake warmth and generosity, full with a medium spiciness. Caramel tones sweetened out by the warmth and malt, zip of tight acidity supporting it all. Back flavours are long and lingering, spicy sweetness and very good. Excellent whisky. My first ever English whisky at a late stage in my life!
