  Ruby, semi-clear, lighter rim, not bad. nose: a lot of tart, fresh fruit - underripe plums; later leather, earth, smoke; nevertheless - rather simple. taste: medium (+) acidity; some smoky notes; tart fruit - red and black currants, cherries, plums; light tannins; medium-length finish - with sweeter black cherries aftertaste. The price is right.
