  The nose is light on this, mostly of bing cherry and light pepper. On the front and middle palate it's well-rounded maraschino cherry– not jammy– finishing with a hint of black raspberry and faint lilac. The well roundedness of the fruit feels parallel to the 2018 vintage. Despite my thin description, this is no Pinot, of course, and definitely hits the "big red" category on overall profile.
