  • A nose of plum and old cranberry with some autumn leaves and blacktop asphalt. Smells good. Medium weighted, the fruit expression is young red fruit, with a tart edge. I want to say I see raspberries, apple and cranberry with a bracingly tart finish. I like the integration between the flavors, acidity and tannins at this point, the palate shows it's flavors with a burst of acidity as the wine is swallowed. As this makes my mouth water slightly, some late, firm tannin creeps up my gums and cheeks. The finish isn't terribly long but the wine doesn't end short either. I PnP'd this yesterday after work cold, right out of the cellar, and it was pretty tasty chilled. Today, everything is a bit louder, but again delicious. Pretty well balanced and integrated at this point. Worth checking in on if you have some, surprisingly youthful.
