Beautiful golden color to it. Nose was really similar to that of 16 months ago; ripe and yellow apple, citrus fruits, lemon zest, chalk, oak, toasted brioche and roasted hazelnuts. It had gotten a bit more developed at this point with more focus on the brioche and nuttiness.
Now the palate was just gorgeous... First off ripe and yellow apple giving that really mature and aged feel, but this got washed straight away with fresh green apple, citrus fruits, lemon and lime zest with a bit of pear. Then comes the creaminess from butter, brioche, nuts and oxidation. Sharp acidity and the dosage is just right on point with a beautiful minerality and chalkiness.
These DT-champagnes are simply just giving so much complexity, depth, elegance, finesse and craftsmanship for €80 at release (try to keep them longer...). I will always come back to these time and time again!
Super zesty, lemony and delicious. This baby has a lovely long life still ahead of it. I wish I had hoarded additional bottles because it is clearly only improving with time. That being said, if you're impatient to try it, it is already highly enjoyable.
APPEARANCE: Color & intensity: medium gold
NOSE: Intensity: medium (+) Aromas: yellow apple, buttered brioche, toasted almond, pear, toast, wet stones, lemon zest, hints of white flowers and baking spices Development: developing
PALATE: Sweetness: dry Acidity: medium (+) Alcohol: medium Body: medium Mousse: delicate Intensity: medium (+) Flavors: lemon, lemon zest, yellow apple, toasted almond, brioche, crushed stone, hint of baking spices Finish: medium (+)
CONCLUSIONS: Quality level: very good Potential for ageing: can drink now, but has very good potential for further ageing
Jacquesson Night (Canard and Willamette Wine Storage, Portland OR): Nose: The nose is fragrant and deep with well balanced tones of meyer lemons, pears, apples, biscuits, mint, chamomile, almonds, acacia flowers, peaches, toast, vanilla, and baking spices. The nose is flowing and complex with great balance between the citrus and autolytic notes.
Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with tart, high acidity. The acidity is well integrated and balanced while the feel is textured with tones of meyer lemons, pears, apples, biscuits, mint, almonds, acacia flowers, toast, vanilla, and baking spices.
Overall: This is drinking beautifully, but it could likely benefit form a few years of aging. There is good balance between the lees notes and the citrus tones while showing off great depth across the nose and palate.

Bright golden with vibrant mousse. Freshly squeezed Japnese apple juice, lemon confit, white flowers, brioche, almond, apricot, some saline mineralite and grilled nuts.
Great tension, zesty and intense. Just at the beginning of its drinking window.
96 months on lees, was disgorged in June 2019 with a very low dosage (0.75gr/l). 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞: 2010 vintage with 33% reserve wine

2010 base. Feeling quite advanced with nutty, oxidative notes, dry, chalky finish, dense. Good, but a little somber, the 2008 DT is much better.
