Seriously good. Complex funky winemakers style but fantastic tight fruit underneath. The components are starting to come together now in a delicious food friendly Chardonnay.
An Australian superstar (in its quiet way).

Vibrant light yellow/gold colour. Faint whiff of struck match, a bit of baked lemon meringue pie and guava. Palate is bang on with ripe green melons, lime spider and white peach fruit framed with very subtle nutty oak. None of the flavours are OTT and it is balanced with vibrant acidity and lovely texture. Long. One of the best cardies I have had this year. Excellent

19 Artus Chardonnay.
Light golden yellow.
Grapefruit, apple, lemon, ginger, some meal.
A nice saline streak cuts through the savoury length.
Classy oak adds white pepper spice.
A little burned toffee through the finish says the oak still has some time.
A delicious medium to full bodied wine, even now on day 4.
Excellent, bordering exceptional. 4.5 plus or 94 pts.
