A biodynamic domaine in the Savennières Roche aux Moines AOC on schist soil. This wine is made from young vines, vinified with indigenous yeasts and aged in cask and bottled after eight months, so looking for freshness and fruit. Colour: light/med gold, bright, clear. Nose: full, fresh, v ripe, pear drops, floral, Taste: med body, rounded, good acidity, v ripe fruit, pears. Med finish, dry, pears. Overall, enjoyable entry level wine or, put it another way, Roche aux Moines on the cheap. Develops well over time, reaching delicious roundeness, almost opulence. Chenin at its best.
