  • First white wine from this region and variety (Sauvignosasse or Sauvignon Vert) so nothing to compare to. Some people compare to Sauvignon Blanc but it’s very different, at least in the style and harvest timing. Very drinkable right now. Drank at Fogolar Furlan in Felixstow, South Australia.

  • Pale lemon color. Nose is fresh, freshly cut grass dominates with grapefruit and white peach. Moderate acidity, medium body, medium alcohol, more aromatic on the palate. Repeating grassy/grapefruit notes with lichee and slightly bitter waxy finish. The texture is somewhat oily. Overall fresh but very straightforward. I would advise this one as pre-meal warm-up or perhaps into appetizers but too simple for the table otherwise. To be consumed now
