Nose of berries, mushrooms, & earth. First impressions were of a blast of berries followed be an earthen or mineral taste that lingers well beyond the berries. Medium to medium long finish. A somewhat delicate wine but with enough structure to last in the bottle a few more years if anyone could have the patience to wait. Very pleasant sipping wine that really would be best not to pair it with anything but your own saliva!

Even on pop and pour, this is aromatic and plush as it fills the glass with plums, dark red cherries, raspberries, fresh picked red berries, spice notes, violets, sarsaparilla, and crushed rocks. There is excellent depth and balance to the nose while showing off a good amount of freshness. The Medium bodied feel shows off the freshness of the nose along with tart, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. This is really expressive at a young age already. I do think a few more years of aging will do this some good, but the window feels like it could be pretty wide open.

No rating on purpose, as I forgot this was all Pommard. Full bodied. Hold for at least 3 to years. Monitor CT for notes.

Tasting at PGC
Loamy tilled earth, red and forest berry fruits. This has good lift, is stony and savory with good acidic balance. youthful with promise.
