We drank in a vertical tasting of the 2013, 2014, and 2015 bishop block.
Of the 3, this was the cloudiest, and warm red color.
The crew said: herbaceous (rosemary, palo Santo) Dirty, woody (like the old wood door we just rehung) Savory Quince, a little clove. Raspberries and red currants.
Most acidic of the 3, a little dry in the mouth.

Lovely aromas of rose petals and herbs. Savory in the mouth with herbs, orange rind and cherry fruit. For me, it is at maturity while maintaining the bright fruit and good acidity. It’s so hard to hold onto new releases for them to get to this stage in their development.

Being the chief cook and bottlewasher around the house I take the liberty of coravining a glass of wine while prepping dinner. This past weeks bottle was the Durant. Brick red in the glass, red berries on the nose. The palate was strawberry, rhubarb and some pie spice. The finish was moderate. A took a glass of wine each night and the result was constant.

Medium red. Spicy strawberry and cherry on nose, interesting baking spice and earthiness. Tannins integrated

Fantastic. Bright and lively on the palate, both with acidity and freshness of fruit. Among my favorite domestic Pinot possibly ever.
