Very tasty and smooth with a nice brisk finish. Cherry is the primary flavor on the palate. The wine is less full-flavored and less ful-bodied than I usually expect from a CDR. Still very nice. Think pinot noir structure with mediterranean flavors.

Drank last night at a party. I'm not going to try to write a detailed tasting note based on yesterday's info. Suffice it to say that the wine is tasty and very smooth. Very pleasant.

2007 France Trip - Beaucastel, Ferrand, Vielle Julienne, Grand Veneur (Southern Rhone): Fragrant, smoky nose. Fresh black fruits, coffee/espresso, and violets. Expressive in the mouth. An excellent value at 4.60 Euros.
